Henderson seeks feedback as Reimagine Boulder Highway project continues

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) —The city of Henderson continues to reimagine Boulder Highway and wants your input. Right now, there is an online survey open to anyone who uses the historic corridor as its future is being shaped.

Work is well underway to transform what was a highway built to get workers from Downtown Vegas to the Hoover Dam nearly 100 years ago into a more pedestrian friendly, modern roadway. Boulder Highway is now an orange cone highway throughout its 7.5 mile stretch in Henderson.

Plans to transform the deadliest road for pedestrians in the state started back in 2006. Construction began last summer, and a walkability study was held last fall…
