Broadacres Marketplace vendor rebuilds booth outside storefront in east Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — After the abrupt closure of Broadacres Marketplace, many vendors have been forced to find new ways to make a living.

For more than 15 years, Mireya Lopez and her family ran five booths at Broadacres Marketplace. They sold traditional Mexican candy, pinatas, nuts fruit and seasonal items – all of it sitting in storage.

“So, there are products that have a very short expiration date, and they have already expired, and we won’t be able to recover anything from them,” Lopez said in Spanish…
