LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Christmas is more than five months away, but who’s counting? Certainly, not Goodwill of Southern Nevada.
It’s Christmas in July at local Goodwill stores. The annual event brings early holiday magic to 100 children from underserved communities in the valley.
Each child, pre-selected through five nonprofit organizations – including FEAT (Families for Effective Autism Treatment), Hannah’s Closet, Real Talk, the Children’s Advocacy Alliance, and Klothes 4 Kids will receive a $100 Goodwill gift card and be paired with a local first responder from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department or Clark County Fire. Together, they’ll shop for clothing, school supplies, books, and toys.
