LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that left a woman in a wheelchair critically injured early Sunday near downtown Las Vegas.
It happened just after 4 a.m. at the intersection of Bonanza Road and City Parkway, according to Las Vegas Metro police.
A 2013 to 2017 Nissan Pathfinder was heading west on Bonanza when it hit a 58-year-old woman, who was crossing in a marked crosswalk while pushing a shopping cart. The pedestrian signal displayed don’t walk at the time of the crash, police said.
The SUV hit the woman with its front right side, throwing her onto the roadway. Police said the driver did not stop and was last seen heading west on Bonanza, then north on Martin Luther King Boulevard…
