Two flight attendants aboard a Southwest Airlines flight out of Burbank airport July 25 were injured after a near miss with a privately owned fighter jet headed to Naval Base Ventura County.
Southwest Flight 1496 was en route to Las Vegas when it received an onboard alert that another aircraft was in the vicinity, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
