LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Several inmates appeared to have tampered with their prison cell doors to free themselves from their cells moments before attacking another inmate, according to documents obtained by the 8 News Now Investigators.
Jordan Canteberry, 34, died on July 26 from multiple stab wounds, the Clark County Coroner determined.
Corrections officers found Canteberry stabbed inside a unit at High Desert Prison Saturday morning. When they responded, several inmates ran back inside their cells, according to documents.
