Cooling stations to open across Las Vegas valley due to high temperatures

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Clark County is set to activate cooling stations across the Las Vegas valley and Southern Nevada starting Tuesday as temperatures are set to rise in the coming days.

Due to an extreme heat risk, the following stations will be activated from 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, through 10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, for anyone in need of respite from the heat.
