Suspected hit-and-run driver arrested after police chase in central Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police arrested a suspected hit-and-run driver after a foot chase in the central valley Wednesday, according to Metro police.

Around 3:40 p.m., police responded to the area of Washington Avenue and Robin Street near Rancho Drive after a report of a crash involving two vehicles.

The suspected driver ran from the scene of the crash, causing the officer to initiate a foot pursuit that ended with them taking him into custody, police said.
