Unlicensed driver accused of DUI after crashing into Las Vegas bar at 60 mph

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An unlicensed and uninsured driver is accused of driving impaired with an open container of alcohol when she slammed into a Las Vegas bar at 60 mph, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained Tuesday.

Margerette Williams, 32, was the driver who crashed into Dino’s Lounge on Monday, Aug. 4, records said. The crash on Las Vegas Boulevard near Oakey Avenue happened around 6:30 a.m.

Williams faces charges including DUI, records said. Williams’ charges indicate she did not have a driver’s license, proof of insurance, or a properly registered vehicle at the time of the crash…
