LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A woman is accused of hoarding at least 48 cats — both alive and deceased — with police locating some animal remains stored in her garage, according to documents 8 News Now obtained Tuesday.
Elisabeth Covington faces 107 charges connected to a search of her east valley home, records said. In all, police said they found 27 deceased cats and 21 sick ones in her care.
On Wednesday, Aug. 6, police received a call for service from Clark County Animal Protection Services regarding an east valley home with “an excess number of cats inside,” documents said.
