Car crashes into Las Vegas convenience store injuring person

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A car crashed into a Circle K gas station convenience store in east Las Vegas on Wednesday morning, leaving one person injured, police said.

The crash occurred on the northwest corner of Nellis Boulevard and Sahara Avenue around 6:40 a.m.

One person was transported to a hospital, and the driver was taken into custody for suspected impairment, Las Vegas Metropolitan police said.
