Arrest report: Las Vegas man admits setting police HQ fire for attention

Las Vegas (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has released additional details regarding the arrest of a man accused of setting fire to their headquarters earlier this month.

Christian Vega, 35, was arrested on August 10in connection with a fire at the Metro Police Headquarters the day before.

According to the arrest report, police said Vega was captured on video picking up a paper plate, lighting it on fire, and tossing it into bushes adjacent to a parking garage…
