LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — After half a year of back and forth, negotiations may be nearing the finish line when it comes to Las Vegas, Clark County, and North Las Vegas sealing a deal with the Animal Foundation.
In a Thursday press conference, Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley expressed that she is eager to sign the contract and is confident it is the right move for the city.
“Unless you want to adopt 800 animals today, that’s the way we’re going,” she said. “We can’t do without them, they can’t do without us.”…
