Henderson community on edge after teen hit by driver ignoring school bus stop sign

HENDERSON (KSNV) — Residents of a Henderson neighborhood are expressing concern for children’s safety after a teenager was struck by a vehicle while getting off a school bus on Wednesday afternoon.

The driver, 27-year-old Yarla Valeriano-Perez, is accused of ignoring the school bus stop sign, hitting the teenager, and then fleeing the scene.
