LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Summerlin South Little League team is coming home to a parade after an incredible run in the Little League World Series, but before celebrating them it’s time to meet the players.
Las Vegas comes up short against Chinese Taipei in World Championship
Summerlin South represents the state of Nevada and the Mountain Region after the team made its way through local and regional tournaments before heading to Williamsport, Pennsylvania. While the team fell short in the World Championship against Chinese Taipei, Summerlin South secured the title of U.S. champions.

They were coached by Tony D’Ambrosio, TJ Fechser, Americo Miranda, and Adam Malan.
On Wednesday, the community is invited to gather at Downtown Summerlin to celebrate the team. The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. and will be hosted by Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys.
