More Las Vegas valley residents could face eviction as rental assistance program’s money dries up

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A program that has doled out millions of dollars to help thousands of local residents avoid eviction is no longer accepting applications for rental assistance.

The funding for the program, Clark County Eviction Prevention and Fixed Income Rent Assistance, formally CHAP, is nearly gone and is no longer accepting applications for rental assistance, according to a news release from Clark County.
