Leaders aim to revive Resort Corridor Court to help boost safety

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — On the Las Vegas Strip, tourism fuels Nevada’s economy and hospitality leaders said keeping it safe is non-negotiable.

That’s why leaders are pushing to revive the Resort Corridor Court, even as new numbers show crime has fallen on the Strip.

“The whole idea is to have a real court system that focuses on the Strip and safety on the Strip. It should also provide due process for those who may be appearing before the court,” Ted Pappageorge, secretary-treasurer for the Culinary Workers Union Local 226, said…
