LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Making bomb threats. Possessing a gun on campus. Fighting other students.
Those were some of the hundreds of charges officers with the Clark County School District Police Department filed against juveniles in the 2024-2025 school year, according to data 8 News Now obtained.
Las Vegas student found with gun on elementary school campus
The Clark County School District released the numbers after a public records request, showing that 377 juveniles were arrested.
A student at Mojave High School was charged on March 14 with using a stun gun for a purpose other than self-defense.
In February, a student at Walter Johnson Junior High School and a student at Dell H. Robison Middle School were taken into custody for making false bomb threats.
