LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Enjoy the sun while you can because this weekend marks the beginning of early sunsets in Las Vegas.
This Saturday, Sept. 6, will mark the last Las Vegas sunset after 7 p.m. for the next six months, according to sunrise and sunset data from Time and Date. The sun will set at exactly 7 p.m. that night, but starting on Sunday, sunsets will move into the 6 p.m. hour.
Those 6 p.m. sunsets will continue to get earlier and earlier until Oct. 19, when the sun will begin to set in the 5 p.m. hour. The decrease in daylight continues until the middle of December, when sunset times will start to move steadily in the other direction…
