Felony Suspect Found Deceased After Standoff Leads to Central Las Vegas Road Closure

Central Las Vegas faced disruptions early this morning as a standoff between police and a felony suspect culminated in a road closure. According to a FOX5 report, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police were engaged in a barricade situation near the intersection of Paradise and Flamingo Roads after detectives located a man wanted on felony charges just after 11 p.m. last night.

The standoff began as detectives attempted to apprehend the suspect, a maneuver that swiftly turned into a prolonged confrontation.
