North Las Vegas man sentenced to 10 years for trafficking more than 30 pounds of meth

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A North Las Vegas man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for distributing and possessing with the intent to distribute more than 30 pounds of methamphetamine across the valley, according to the Department of Justice.

On Wednesday, Efrain Macias-Amaral was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison and five years of supervised release after serving his time, according to the DOJ.

Macias-Amaral, who had entered the U.S. illegally, distributed and possessed with the intent to distribute over 15 kilograms of methamphetamine in 2024, court documents said. On June 11 and July 3 of 2024, he sold a combined 4,000 grams of meth to an individual…
