LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Pride of Philly Steaks, or more affectionately known as P.O.P.S., is renovating its iconic building and opening a new food truck in the meantime.
Pride of Philly Steaks has served Las Vegas for more than two decades out of its iconic A-frame building on the corner of Alta Drive and Decatur Boulevard. The full-scale property refresh is designed to breathe new energy into the restaurant, while still honoring the classic charm its customers know and love, the restaurant announced earlier this month.
The renovation will feature refreshed signage, new digital menu boards, updated outdoor flooring throughout the outdoor patio, new furniture and an update to the restaurant’s Benjamin Franklin mural.
During the renovation, the restaurant is going to transfer its operations to its new P.O.P-Up food truck. The truck will make its debut on Monday, Sept. 22, and will offer the full menu of classic cheesesteaks and sides, made fresh to order, including the Peppers & Mushroom Cheesesteak, Cheese Whiz Steak, Cheesesteak Hoagie, Three Cheeses & Chili Cheesesteak, Pastrami & Swiss Grinder, and the Three Cheese Vegetarian Hoagie.
Catering and delivery will be available during the renovation through DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub. Once the renovation is complete, the Pride of Philly Food Truck will remain active and available for special events throughout the Las Vegas valley…
