LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas has seen a loss of thousands of jobs, according to a new state report.
According to the latest jobs report from the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR), the state’s unemployment rate decreased by 0.1 percentage point to 5.3 percent. Nevada’s labor force declined by 1,303, while the total number of nonfarm jobs fell by 3,800 in August compared with July.
