LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Residents at the Sonoma Palms Apartments in Las Vegas are raising safety concerns following ongoing darkness in their senior complex parking lot.
Residents told 8 News Now, the parking lot lights have been out for two months, and it is creating a challenge to drive or walk at night.
“It’s not safe for anybody,” resident Rose Roddy said. “I’ll call my son and be like, ‘Can you come walk me up to my place? It’s really dark.’”
Roddy lives alone, and said her sense of security was shattered after her car was broken into on Aug. 28. She feels it was avoidable if the lights were working properly…
