LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Eight stores in the Las Vegas valley are on a list circulating on the internet of Starbucks locations expected to close.
Six Las Vegas locations and two in Henderson have been identified by USA Today as stores that will close as the company looks to take better control of its brand. Here is the list:
- 4780 S. Maryland Pkwy. (Las Vegas)
- 3755 Spring Mountain Road (Las Vegas)
- 3301 W. Sahara Ave. (Las Vegas)
- 3575 W. Tropicana Ave. (Las Vegas)
- 4810 W. Desert Inn Road (Las Vegas)
- 1625 E. Charleston Blvd. (Las Vegas)
- 3360 St. Rose Pkwy. (Henderson)
- 3511 Volunteer Blvd. (Henderson)
The chain has not commented on the veracity of the list assembled by USA Today.
“During the review, we identified coffeehouses where we’re unable to create the physical environment our customers and partners expect, or where we don’t see a path to financial performance, and these locations will be closed,” Starbucks Chairman and CEO Brian Niccol said in a memo to partners on Thursday, Sept. 25…
