VOTE NOW: Red flag gun laws

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada’s “red flag” gun law, enacted in 2020, allows courts to issue a High-Risk Protection Order (HRPO) to temporarily remove firearms from individuals deemed a danger to themselves or others.

This legislation was passed in response to the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting.
