‘Thanks for not shooting me,’ man tells Las Vegas officer weeks before allegedly shooting at police

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man accused of firing a gunshot at a Metro police officer thanked a different officer for not shooting him during an arrest weeks earlier, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.

Jaime Bustillos, 19, faces drug-related and attempted murder charges for two incidents since July, records said.
