Man accused of hitting 12-year-old in school zone, bail set a $250,000

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The man accused of striking a 12-year-old in a school zone near Rancho High School appeared in court Saturday.

OH’Ryan Brooks faced Judge Daniel Westmeyer, where the state’s attorney requested a $250,000 bail, high-level electronic monitoring, and restrictions on driving.

Brooks, who admitted to vaping before and after driving through the school zone, has no prior felony or gross misdemeanor convictions, according to court records…
