LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) carpool lane is back on I-15 through what had been the Tropicana construction area.
Also back: viewer complaints about the HOV lane.
“The HOV lane usually has only a few cars, and most of them have only one person. But a worse problem is the speeders using the HOV lane as their personal passing lane, cutting over the solid white line to make a pass and then back out. Most of the cars that are ok to be in the lane are speeding up to 20mph over the speed limit. The simplest solution? Eliminate the HOV lane and give everyone another northbound travel lane,” one viewer named Jim said…
