Man who threatened Las Vegas school shooting using ex-classmate’s name heads to prison

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man who used a high school acquaintance’s name in an online threat about a mass shooting at a Clark County School District high school will serve at least six years in prison, a judge ruled Monday.

Noah Delponso, 31, accepted a guilty plea earlier this year on charges including making a terror threat and stalking, records said. As part of a plea deal, Delponso agreed to serve up to 20 years in prison.

“I want to commend you on taking steps that will ultimately serve you well when you are released,” Clark County District Court Judge Jessica Peterson told Delponso before she sentenced him to the 6-to-20-year sentence…
