LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — One person is dead and another was taken to a hospital via helicopter after a crash northwest of Las Vegas early Tuesday morning, according to authorities.
The collision was reported around 12:27 a.m. on northbound U.S. 95 near Nye County mile marker 15, said Trooper Shawn Haggstrom with Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol. That’s about 55 miles outside Las Vegas and about 30 miles north of Pahrump.
