LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Authorities in California believe the suspects in a 2022 double murder have ties to Las Vegas and released composite sketches, hoping the public can help identify them.
On July 2, 2022, at around 11 p.m., deputies responded to calls of a shooting near Atwater in Merced County, about 100 miles east of San Jose. Callers reported that multiple shots were fired by suspects in one vehicle toward four occupants in another vehicle, according to a news release from the Merced County Sheriff’s Office.
Ruben Coronado, 23, and Eli Correa, 24, were killed, and a woman was critically injured in that shooting. The suspects fled the scene and are still at large…
