Las Vegas (KSNV) — Clark County’s Department of Environment and Sustainability (DES) and the Arbor Day Foundation are partnering again to grow the “urban forest” started last year.
This fall, 2,300 trees will be given away to areas in Southern Nevada affected by the urban heat island effect, as part of the Stay Cool Clark County initiative.
