Henderson police: Man tried to kill woman over $100 debt

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Henderson police arrested a man after they said he fired gunshots into a woman’s home on three separate dates, hitting her once, over a $100 debt, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained.

Deandre Lewis, 34, faces charges including attempted murder, for allegedly shooting at the woman over the course of three days, records said. In all, police suspect Lewis fired 22 rounds at the woman’s home.

On Sept. 24, Lewis allegedly fired at the home near Horizon Drive and Interstate 11, hitting the woman once. Before the first shooting, the victim received a Facebook message from a person she knew asking if she would be in her bedroom, police said.
