Parents upset after 2 second-grade girls leave Las Vegas school campus without teachers noticing

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Parents are upset with administrators and teachers at a Las Vegas elementary school after their children left campus during recess and were found hours later at a coffee shop.

The two girls who left were both 7 years old, second-graders at Tobler Elementary School.

One of the girls was Christian and Lauren Peña’s daughter. They told 8 News Now they want policy changes after teachers didn’t even notice their child was missing…
