LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Mabuhay Filipino Town! Thursday morning, Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom joined Filipino community leaders to unveil the street sign for Las Vegas’ new Filipino Town – a cultural district years in the making.
“It’s been so many years that we’ve been talking about a Filipino center, but now we have a town. A designation of Filipino Town,” said Filipino Town founder Rozita Lee. “We’re so pleased that we have a place where people can come together and we can have our businesses together.”

Lee has called Las Vegas home for 45 years, witnessing the Filipino community grow and thrive. She led the effort to create Filipino Town – a vision to highlight Filipino culture and the community’s contributions across the valley.
