Las Vegas woman in Arizona jail facing charges in theft of 2 trucks, trailer

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas woman remains in jail after she was arrested on Oct. 3 in the investigation of a stolen truck and trailer in northwest Arizona.

Jade Nikole Storm, 29, of Las Vegas and Samantha Diane Clinkinbeard, 26, of Denver each face charges of theft of a means of transportation, possession of stolen property and weapons violations, according to information provided Tuesday by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).

Storm and Clinkinbeard, who both have prior felony convictions according to MCSO officials, were arrested after they tried to tried to flee MCSO deputies who were searching a stolen trailer on property the two own east of Topock, a small town on the Arizona-California Border along Interstate 40. The town is about 120 miles south of Las Vegas.

A high-speed pursuit from the property on Polaris Road ended when a “high-risk” stop was conducted in Topock in the 5000 block of E. Powell Lake Road. Storm, Clinkinbeard and a male passenger were in the black SUV that tried to elude deputies. The man was released after the investigation determined he was not involved in the vehicle thefts…
