LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Despite a goal of less than 125 deaths this year on Las Vegas roadways, the latest data from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police show that mark was surpassed.
The department reports 127 people killed in traffic-related crashes as of October 12. That’s up from the 123 people who died at the same time last year.
The latest deadly crash happened on Sunday before 9 a.m. at the Ann Road and El Capitan Way intersection. Police said a car was crossing from a posted stop sign heading north on El Capitan through the intersection with Ann Road when a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed came into the same intersection and hit the back of the car…
