Local food pantry owner warns of crisis as government shutdown threatens funding

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Dewayne McCoy, owner of The After Market food pantry in North Las Vegas, is raising alarms as the ongoing government shutdown threatens funding for essential services.

“It’s almost a pipe dream to tell them not to worry, because they’ll get grey hairs worrying about how I’m going to feed my children,” McCoy said.
