LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas lawyer accused of overseeing a $460 million Ponzi scheme has reached a plea deal with federal prosecutors.
A plea agreement was filed Friday, Oct. 17, in the case against Matthew Wade Beasley in the U.S. District Court of Nevada.
Beasley agrees to plead guilty to five counts of wire fraud, according to a copy of the agreement, and serve a sentence of 12 to 20 years in prison. He would also have to pay full restitution to the victims, which was still undetermined as of the plea deal filing…
