LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A former employee of a business which runs group homes for teens in Las Vegas said she was fired after she repeatedly raised safety concerns.

Pamela Gomez, a licensed marriage and family therapist, told the 8 News Now Investigators she was hired in October 2023 and fired in January 2024.
“I was really blindsided when I was suddenly terminated for what I believe was for raising these alarms,” Gomez said.

Her former employer, Moriah Behavioral Health, also known as Ignite Teen and Eden Treatment, appears to have four licensed psychiatric residential treatment facilities in Las Vegas.
Gomez said she believed she was brought in as program director to help make improvements after state sanctions. She recalled immediate red flags.
