Driver killed after crashing into power pole in south Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A driver is dead after crashing into a power pole Tuesday morning on Pebble Road near Paradise Road. The east and westbound lanes of Pebble are closed to traffic.

The crash was reported around 2:15 a.m. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the driver, a 58-year-old man, was traveling eastbound on Pebble when he failed to maintain his lane and crashed into the concrete base of a power pole, causing the car to overturn.
