Las Vegas police say a man suspected in a string of shootings also fired shots that struck a window at a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, an update authorities released Saturday. The development adds to a months‑long homicide probe that has kept detectives focused on both the Strip and outlying parts of the valley, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

In a press release via Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, detectives said they have linked a suspect to multiple shootings and rebooked him on additional charges. The department identified the man as 30‑year‑old Dandre Owens, who was already in custody on open murder and weapons counts, the release says.
