LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — One person is dead after an apartment fire in the central Las Vegas valley Saturday evening, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
Around 7 p.m., fire crews responded to an apartment fire in the 1400 block of Vegas Valley Drive near Maryland Parkway. When crews arrived they found smoke coming from the second-floor unit of a two-story apartment building.
Crews declared an offensive strategy, and knockdown was declared at 7:10 p.m. A primary search was completed by 7:14 p.m. and one person was found inside the room of origin and they were declared dead, according to CCFD…
