“What we’re saying is we’re going to block off part of the park, be just for families and kids, and therefore they can use it,” Segerblom said.
The commissioner confirmed his pushback to talk of closing Molasky Park during an interview with 8 News Now anchor Ozzy Mora, and said he is proposing an alternative.

“For example, that park in the southwest corner has a playground, splash pad and some things for kids,” he said. “What I’m looking at now, is fencing that area and have a separate gate.”…
