Nevada tribal communities face funding risk in shutdown

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Tribal communities across Nevada are feeling the effects of the government shutdown.

The Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada’s Women, Infants, and Children Program, or WIC, spoke with 8 News Now and said the program is secure until the end of November, but money is running out.
