Las Vegas to build first standalone children’s hospital, offering hope and healing

Las Vegas is set to welcome its first standalone children’s hospital, a billion-dollar investment spearheaded by MGM and Intermountain Health.

The facility, expected to open in 2029, will feature over 150 beds and focus on pediatric care.

“Today marks a generation-defining moment for Nevada’s children and families,” said Bert Zimmerli of the Intermountain Foundation Board of Trustees.
