DA: Wrong-way drunk driver wrapped elderly biker around Mercedes in northwest Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A judge ordered a 69-year-old man held on a quarter-million-dollar bail Monday after police say the man drove into oncoming traffic and killed an elderly bicyclist in a drunk driving crash.

This, the 132nd traffic-related fatality of this calendar year in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction, is just ahead of last year’s pace, police said in a release.
