Free meals offered by Las Vegas academy, early learning center

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Source Academy & Early Learning Center says it’s providing free breakfast, lunch and dinner to those in need across the Las Vegas Valley.

Officials with the center said it’s a response to the ongoing suspension and delays of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

“As a community-based program, we see the direct impact that policy changes and funding delays have on families,” said Jerek Hough, Chief Executive Officer of Source Academy & Early Learning Center. “When benefits are on hold, families are left to make impossible choices. We believe no child or parent should ever go hungry, and we’re proud to stand in the gap.”…
