LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Residents in a Henderson neighborhood told 8 News Now they are outraged after an abandoned dog was found in a trash bag on Tuesday.

The dog later passed away at a local animal hospital, according to the Henderson Police Department.
“It’s just evil. I mean, take an animal to an animal hospital if they’re sick or hurt and you can’t afford to take care of them,” Maureen Denman-Bell told 8 News Now on Wednesday. “To dump them in a garbage can, it’s just evil.”
Like her other neighbors, Denman-Bell said the area of Inspirada where the dog was found is quiet.
“We know our neighbors. We know if new people come in and out. So, I’m just very safety conscious,” Denman-Bell said. “You’re evil and you will be caught.”…
